  • orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)
  • optimum and suboptimum receiver techniques
  • cellular radio capacity and spectrum efficiency
  • diversity methods
  • multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems
  • power control and handover
  • architecture of mobile radio systems, e.g. GSM, UMTS and WLAN
